Hi there,

every time I use the average symbol in any font I've tried I get it doubled almost atop of each other.
The Html code I use for the symbol is ∅

The result itself looks fine in Chrome or Firefox.

Hope you can help me.

Best regards

Hi,

We tested it with the latest version and it seems to work fine. Can you post a test page that we can use to duplicate the problem?

Thanks!

I think I found a workaround for this problem.

It only occurs when the text is bold for eg. in a header.

In short, if leave the sign/symbol normal you won't get this issue.

Thanks & best regards

Thanks for the update. This is normal. The library we use try to simulate bold with double rendering with an offset when the bold version of the font is not directly available. This works well for most characters, however for characters with thin lines, you will see double lines because the offset is bigger than the line width (for "normal" characters the two rendering supposes to overlap to form a thicker line).
