Hello

We recently evaluated the eo.webbrowser for use in our software

I downloaded the EO.Total 2014.0.25 package from the download links provided on this site and used the eo.webbrowser dll provided in the setup. It worked fine and after testing we purchased a license.

Now i noticed that the webbrowser can also be installed as a nuget package (https://www.nuget.org/packages/EO.WebBrowser)
The nuget package has a higher version number as the one i got from the download, nuget has currently 3.0.88 and i got 3.0.80 from the download (wich suprisingly is not listed in the nuget versions)

My question, what is the difference between these versions and what is the recommended version to use?

thanks

Hi,

EO.Total 2014.0.25 contains EO.WebBrowser.dll 3.0.88.0, not 3.0.80.0. So your 3.0.80.0 must have come from an earlier version. We recommend you to always download the latest version from our download page.

Generally the nuget package should match the version on our download page. For example, the latest on our download page has 3.0.88.0, so nuget package should have 3.0.88.0. Occasionally when we update the main download too frequently we would skip the corresponding nuget package. This is probably why you don't see 3.0.80.0 on nuget. In any case, nuget will never have a higher/newer version than our download page.

Thanks!
