Hello there,

we are using EO.PDF version 6.0.20.2 in our application. The problem does not happen in our developing environment. But in our testing environment, we got such error returned:

EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfException: Conversion failed. Failed to initialize conversion (1). ---> EO.Pdf.Internal.aoe: Failed to initialize conversion (1).
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(ma A_0, apq A_1)
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(afo A_0, Boolean A_1)
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(afo A_0)
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(afo A_0)
at EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfSession..ctor(HtmlToPdfOptions A_0)
at EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfSession.Create(HtmlToPdfOptions options)

sometimes the error turned to:

EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfException: Conversion failed. The operation has timed out. ---> System.Exception: The operation has timed out.
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(apq A_0)
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(ma A_0, apq A_1)
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(afo A_0, Boolean A_1)
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(afo A_0)
--- End of inner exception stack trace ---
at EO.Pdf.Internal.ma.a(afo A_0)
at EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfSession..ctor(HtmlToPdfOptions A_0)
at EO.Pdf.HtmlToPdfSession.Create(HtmlToPdfOptions options)

Do you know what kind of problem it is? Could it be permission or firewall issue? How to fix it?

I would appreciate if you could help me to figure out the problem as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Hi,

Please check whether you are using it on Windows 10. If you are using Windows 10, you would need at least EO.Pdf 2015 because that's the first version that supports Windows 10.

Thanks!

Hi,

Please PM us with your order number and we will see what is the latest build covered by your version number. A Microsoft update that applies to both Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 in early 2015 broke EO.Pdf and you would get this error message. We had changed our code to resolve this issue shortly after. So if this is the root of the issue for you and your license covers a build after that, then we can provide that build to you and it should resolve this issue.

Thanks!
