Does EssentialObjects PDF (EO.PDF) support PDF 1.7? Options

We are using EO.PDF 15.3.1.0 to merge PDFs. We have purchased enterprise-level license. When I merged version 1.7 PDFs using the method PdfDocument.Merge(PdfDocument[] array), the output PDF would be version 1.4. The Adobe Reader will complain about the embedded font is not available for the merged PDF. Does EO.PDF NOT support v1.7 PDF at all? How do I solve this issue?

Hi,

It does support PDF 1.7. You can try the latest build and see if it resolves the problem. If it does not resolve the problem, please send the source PDF files to us and we will be happy to investigate further. See here for more information on how to send the test files to us:
