Hello, we are receiving the following issue of Browser engine failed to render page. WebView is closed. Reason: EngineCrash. The DLLs are wired up for version .EO.Pdf.16.1.68.0. This includes, engine, base, pdf, browser, in our Web Project. Wanted to see if there was any insight on what would cause this to occur? Also to note: this does occur both with options passed in or not with on our call to

We have just emailed you early about exactly what caused this error and you have confirmed that the workaround works. Is this a different issue than that one?

Thanks! Hello, Thank you for the excellent support and response you guys have been offering so far! Unfortunately this was a separate issue. The prior was a different exception of: [Exception: Browser engine failed to render page. Failed on command 4]And this was due to the style sheet background image attributes having linear-gradients that would try to render html as an entire image and run out of memory, as you have explained, and we were very happy we resolved that thanks to your help. The issue brought up in the post was related to this exception: [Exception: Browser engine failed to render page. WebView is closed. Reason: EngineCrash]I got this exception using version 16.1.68 and seemed to happen on just about any HTML I would try to convert. I just upgraded to the (currently latest) EO Pdf version of 16.1.87 and the issue seems to have gone away, also previous versions were not causing the issue I posted. Upgrading seemed to be the solution. Thanks - James

Ah I see. We are not aware of any changes between .68 and .87 that would fix an engine crash issue. So I can not confirm that issue indeed has been fixed. If the problem occurs again, please separate the issue into a zip file and send it to us as you did for the previous issue. Usually as soon as we can reproduce it here we can get to the bottom of it.
