We know that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate
your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. Our general policy is to collect
only the information necessary to communicate with our customers about the Essential
Objects products they are interested in, and/or the information required to process
the sale of one of our products. We do not collect any other information, nor share
any of the information we collect with any third party.
INFORMATION COLLECTION
Essential Objects attempts to have reasonable measures in place to assure the anonymity
of visitors to our web site. To maintain and improve site quality and integrity,
IP addresses are logged (the Internet Protocol addresses of computers). This log
is a standard method of reporting to statistically find out which parts of our web
site are visited and how long visitors spend there. We also log the type of browser
and operating system you are using. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable
information.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED DURING THE DOWNLOAD OF TRIAL SOFTWARE
Currently Essential Objects does not collect personal information when you
download one of our products for evaluation.
PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED DURING THE PURCHASE OF OUR PRODUCTS
When you purchase one of our products via our payment service provider, we ask for
the standard and necessary information required to identify you and process the
transaction. This includes information about you, and information about the product
you are purchasing.
At present, the information collected during the purchase process includes your
full name, address, telephone number, company name, e-mail address, IP address,
the purchase date and time and payment information if you check out directly from
our website. If you do not wish to share your payment information with us, you can
checkout through a third party payment provider (either PayPal or Google Checkout),
in which case we will not have access to your payment information.
When you purchase one of our products, we automatically add your name and e-mail
address to our database of customers in order to communicate with you in the future
about the product you have purchased (including updates, fixes, enhancements and
other information), and other Essential Objects products that you may be interested
in.
At no time will your personal information be sold, rented, or revealed in any way
to a third party. We will not use the information you provide to us for any purpose
other than to communicate with you about our products in the most efficient way
possible.
