rounded corners dropdown menu -- the rounded corners are not transparent -- i.e. removes images/text that the menubar overlays on.

is there a setting to avoid this affect please?

this looks off putting as those corner chunks are very visible when highlighting over images etc

apart from that, a great control -- can't use it unfortunately unless I can display the corners properly. (i.e. leave original text/images in tact)

Hi,

The "RoundCorner" template is created based on a set of images. So whatever you want to do, you will need to change those images. You can find all the images used in Images.zip file in your installation folder. You will need to find the correct image, change them and then create your menu based on those changed images.

This topic explained how to use images with our menu in detail:

You may also want to go over other topics that are related to look items as well. They are closely related.

Thanks

ok, understand -- but any image will still wipe over page content as the menubar is displayed.

can these menubars support .gif for the corners -- and would a transparent .gif format work?

If you take a look of the image files, you will see the images used to create the RoundCorners template are all .gif images. And like any other .gif images, transparent .gif would work just fine. The ones in our distribution are not transparent, and you will need to change that. That's exactly why we ask you to start with those images.
