Hello,

One of our clients reported a few issues with the HTTP proxy, telling us that the authentication doesn't work as expected among other things. Even though the specified host/credentials are right, it doesn't manage to log in to the proxy. They theorised that it might be due to their proxy requiring a "digest" authentication mode.
We have a working HTTP proxy in our environment and I tested using Google Chrome and it works, but not with EO's webbrowser. I did notice that Google Chrome's proxy settings are based on Windows' own proxy settings.
The issue only happens with HTTP proxies, testing with a SOCKS proxy works perfectly.

They have also reported an issue with the "bypass" of the proxy settings not working as expected, bypassing certain sites for no apparent reason. I suspect this might have to do with the authentication not working properly, but I'm unsure.

We are using version 16.2.72.0 of the DLLs which is from EO.Total 2016. If there is any other information we or our client can provide we would be happy to.

Best regards.

Hi,

We do not know for sure why it does not work. Do you have a test proxy online that demonstrates the problems so that we can test it from here? You can PM us the credentials. Do not directly reply sensitive information here since forum post is public.

Thanks!
