I noticed that the web browser increased the memory usage of our application a lot. In the following post you write that you are aware of this behavior:
See here
But you have communicated, that you can't do anything about it because the cause is in the Cromium engine. I have now created a test project that displays yahoo.com with the EO.Webbrowser. The actual application required 20 MB of memory. But five processes of eowp.exe required a total of 495 MB of memory. If I display yahoo.com in Google Chrome, it only requires 180 MB.

I wonder if there are not yet possibilities for optimization on your side?

Hi,

The 495 MB of memory you see is not accurate. The key is you can not simply add all eowp.exe's memory usage together. See here for more details:

We do use more memory than Google Chrome because we have to load native browser engine code from memory, not from disk. However this is a one time expense that is shared by all eowp.exe processes.

Thanks!
