EO.Wpf WindowChrome allows you to replace a Window's frame with WPF elements and placing WPF elements into a Window's title area. For example, the following screenshot shows that a tab control is rendered into the window's title area:

Feature Highlights

  • Placing Controls into Windows' Frame Area

    The main benefit of the WindowChrome object is to place other controls into a Window's frame area. By default, the frame area is managed by Windows thus can not be used by application;

  • Supporting Windows 7 Glass and Windows 8

    EO.WindowChrome works on all versions of Windows. On a Windows with glass support, it automatically enables glass effect. On a Windows without glass support, it gracefully falls back to a default frame;

  • Custom Frame Template

    You can provide a custom frame template that will be used when Glass is not supported or not enabled. This allows you to provide a consistent custom window frame on any system;

  • Built-in Event Handler

    WindowChrome class has built-in event handler for common event related to a window, such as close, minimum and maximize.
