Hi!

I have a project using version 23.4.5.0 EO.WebBrowser.WinForm.

My project runs fine on Windows, but one of my customers who use Citrix have problems.
I have now renewed my license and downloaded version 25, but apparently WinForms are no longer supported.

My question is now whether version 24 still support WinForms and if so where can I download it.

Thanks.

Hi,

We did not change anything about WinForm support in V25. Did you get any error message saying WinForms is not supported?

Thanks!

Hi again!

Sorry!

Until now I did not realize that the required dlls were to find in the main folder of the download.
I only took the ones that were in the TabbedBrowser folder.

Now I have rebuild and the programs runs fine with version 25.

Thank you for a quick response.

Hi again!

Now that I have rebuild the project and uploaded it to the Citrix server I get the same error as before.

The error is the one described here
https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/common/child_process_error.html.

I have followed the instructions but get the same error.

When testing with the TabbedBrowser demo in the same environment I get no errors and the browser works fine.

I cannot seem to find any specific setup in the TabbedBrowser demo.

Note that Visual Studio new to me, so I might probably have missed it.

Hi!

I have now activated the manual crash logging as described here (https://www.essentialobjects.com/doc/common/crash_report.html).
The automatic feature was already active though.

Unfortunately, no crash logging is done when the error occurs. A message with an unhandled exception is shown though (please see below).

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Hi again!

Using the solution with the EOWP.EXE program with sufficient rights on the system solved the problem.

Everything seems to be running now.

Thank you for your help.
