You can use this property on the server side:

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/eo.web.fileexplorer.selectedfile.aspx

Or call this function on the client side:

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/jsdoc.public.fileexplorer.getselectedfile.aspx
