Was running with v15.4.5 of EO.WebBrowser without problems. Today installed v16.0.17 and am now getting the following exception:

System.Exception: Channel disconnected

The exception occurs when I open up multiple browser views to different URLs in different tabs (my UI allows for multiple browser tabs) and then close any of the tabs. The exception occurs immediately and is thrown by all browser views.

I reverted to the 15.4.5 release and the problem is gone.

Hi,

We are not able to reproduce this problem. Can you try to isolate the problem into a test project and then send it to us so that we can investigate further? Please see here for more information about how to send test project to us:

Thanks!

I was getting this error message too after installing v16 - it seemed to be when I had popups opened then destroying all the web views. I too reverted back to v15. I just reinstalled v16 after reading this posting and now I cannot get the error anymore but my popups (new windows) are blank most of the time.

I tried with TabbedBrowser in v16 with the page http://www.popuptest.com and some new tabs are blank. It doesn't happen in TabbedBrowser v15

UPDATE: The blank window problem only happens on the 32 bit version of Windows 10, not on the 64 bit.

Here is how I can reproduce System.Exception: Channel disconnected with v16 (both 32 and 64 bit Windows).

With TabbedBrowser go to google then google pdf file
Click on any of the .pdf links

Hi,

We have posted a new build (2016.0.21.0) that fixed the PDF crash issue. We are not able to reproduce the problem with http://www.popuptest.com with the new build. Please verify.

Thanks!

The problem I describe with new windows (for example using popuptest.com) only happens with a 32 bits version of Windows.

Hi,

Please download build 2016.0.28.0 from our download page. This build fixed the blank page issue.

Thanks!
