Hello EO,
I have a customer machine that just upgrade installed Windows 10 today. The EO browser crashes instantly on our main app, and our test app that only has basic EO WebBrowser form. We have ruled out antivirus (disabled it completely). Ran everything as administrator. Switched to use the eowp.exe Worker Process instead of Rundll. Disabled GPU. None of that helped.

However the PC did find corrupt files on a SCF /SCANNOW test and couldn't repair. I've asked them do a Windows Reset and they will tonight.

Meanwhile, I wanted to know if you can deobfuscate this stack trace and or give me any other clues. Thanks!

Hi,

Please check if you are running the latest version. This stack trace indicates that the child process crashed and it is a known issue when you run our older version on newer Windows. We had to change our code multiple times over the years due to changes Microsoft made for Windows 10 and later changes through Windows updates. So please try to update to the latest build and see if it works for you.

Thanks!

Hi EO,

The version is EO.Total 20.2.63 from 9/10/2020 which is only 3 versions behind. Are you suggesting there was a recent change for Windows 10 in the last 4 months that is causing this?

Hi,

No. We are not aware of any changes in the last few builds related to Windows 10. We will email you with more detailed troubleshooting steps shortly.

Thanks!
