I need the datepicker to triggered on javascript....how do I achieve that?

Sorry didnt help, please tell me how two enable the calendar popup just by javascript.

I have an item in my slidemenu, this item when clicked should provide me with the calendar....

Hi David,

Unfortunately there is no more. :) You can not use JavaScript to tell the DatePicker to display its drop down. Such functionality does not exist.
