The first time I click the Refresh button in the folder pane of my File Explorer, it works as expected. On successive clicks, though, I get the following error (which also occurs in your demo code):
EO.Web Controls Client Side Debug Message: An error occurred while applying the new output. Error message: Unable to get property 'parentNode' of undefined or null reference.
as well as the following in a "Webpage Error" message:
Line: 6
Error: Unable to get property 'parentNode' of undefined or null reference
I have observed this behavior in the current versions of both IE and FireFox.

We have confirmed this to be a problem and fixed it. Please download the new build from our download page. That should resolve the problem for you.

The only download I see on your download page is for the 2013 EO Total package - please tell me how to get to other downloads, and - specifically - the one that addresses the problem you've just fixed.

but my license is for EO.Web Suite 2012 (I upgraded in mid-March) - how will this work?

You can still use 2013. You just need go to your license key page to download a new license key.
