Unable to Paste value in MaskedEdit control Options

Our QA department found the following issue while testing a page that contained the EO Masked Edit control (used in this case for entering SSN's)...

"I was unable to Copy/Paste in an SSN number from another document (just ASCII text). I can paste the number in, but it's not accepted and the value I put in is cleared out when the control loses focus. I'm forced to manually input the number with the keyboard. I believe Copy/Paste of the SSN should be allowed."

My question is: Is the EO Masked Edit control designed to not accept pasted values, or is this a bug?

Hi,

Unfortunately paste into a MaskedEdit box is not yet supported. We have no control when user paste a value in, that's why it still can be pasted but not correctly formatted. The only way to use MaskedEdit now is to use the keyboard. Sorry about that!
