License Key not working Options

The error says "Menu ctl01_Menu1 requires a license". Our product license key isn't working.

We added the following key to our global.aspx page and we still get license errors

EO.Web.Runtime.AddLicense(
[REMOVED BY ADMIN]

We are getting an error that we don't have a license for the EO.Web.menu and the tabstrip. Our order reference # is 8675*. In addition, when I try to link the product to my account is says it is already linked to an account. It should be linked to dean*@ky.gov, but your system says that the user doesn't exist... So, I'm stuck.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This is mostly a version mismatch. Your order was placed more than two years ago and it is for a very old version when we were still called AspxLab. There has since been four major releases after that (3.x, 2007.1, 2007.2, 2008), each release requires a different license file/key.

Our system only started to have user account since early 2007, so you have an order, but do not have a user account yet. Your email address is correct. To create an account, please go to Support -> Order Inquiry to have the system resend you the license key link. Once you receive that license link, click that link and it should automatically link your order to your account. You can then go to "My Orders" page to view your order detail.

Your order comes with a one year free upgrade, so I believe you can upgrade to 3.x and 2007.1 for free. You do need to go to "My Orders" page to get a new license file for these versions. We will send you download location for these two versions via private message. You will not be able to use 2007.2 or the current version (2008).

Note the free upgrade does not cover new controls. The current version contains these new controls: Calendar, TreeView, Dialog, AJAXUploader, Grid, MaskedEdit, Splitter, Editor, ColorPicker, SpellChecker, FileExplorer. You will not be able to use those controls without placing a new order.

I selected the request Order Inquiry and didn't send me my keys. I tried to link to an order to an account and it won't work either. Suggestions?

Hi,

It won't send it to you. It will send to dean.tomlinson at ky.gov. I looked into the order and noticed that it has already been associated to account swami.sethu at ky.gov. So you can ask he/she to log into our website to access the keys for the new version.

That is a contractor and we need to be associated with DEPTempoSA at ky.gov. We have temporary staff and people who retire. The account I mentioned in this email is a service account that we have been associating our purchases with in order to address problems like this. Can this be fixed on your end? Swami is out of the country until Feb.

Hi,

I've assocated the order to your account. Please go to our home page first, then click "My Orders" on the right side to view the order, then click "View" under license key to view the license key.
