Hi,

I'm new to EOs products but so far very impressed. I am interested in adding a custom button in a toolbar which is part of the html editor. On clicking the custom button, I would like it to add certain text to the current cursor position in the editor.

Could someone point me in the right direction. If there is any documentation, that would be great, too.

Later, I would also like to add a custom drop down list to the toolbar.

Thanks and regards,
Simon

Hi,

Here is an example on how to use CustomItem:

http://demo.essentialobjects.com/Default.aspx?path=ToolBar\_i1\_i2

And documentation here:

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/toolbar/customize.aspx

Look for "Using custom item" section.

Thanks!
