Hi,
i'm evaluating the eo.grid control and i find very useful, is there a way for setting the alternaterowstyle property like in standard asp.net gridview?

Yes. You would set this property:

http://doc.essentialobjects.com/library/1/eo.web.griditemstyleset.alternatingitemstyle.aspx

You can right click the Grid, then select "Grid Builder", then select "Item Style Sets -> _Default", then expand AlternatingItemStyle on the right side to modify this style.
