HWndParent Property

Gets or sets the handle of the parent window that will be used to host the full screen window.

Remarks

By default, there is no parent window for the full screen window. In that case the full screen window will be truely full screen. However in case you wish to contain the full screen window (for example, to preserve certain UI element such as your application's menu bar), then you can specify a window handle as the container of the full screen window through this property.

Note that if you use this property, then:

  • Your code will be responsible for destroying the parent window when it is no longer needed (for example, when the WebView is destroyed or exit full screen mode;
  • ShowExitInstruction will be ignored. You must display your own exit full screen mode hint message;
