HtmlElement.CreateLink Method ()

Creates a PdfLink object based on this element.

Remarks

This function creates a PdfLink object based on whether this element is a HTML anchor element:

  • For a HTML anchor element that points to another Url, the new PdfLink's TargetUrl will be initialized;
  • For a HTML anchor element that points to another anchor point inside the same document, the new PdfLink's TargetDestination will be initialized;
  • If the element is not a HTML anchor element, then neither TargetUrl nor TargetDestination will be initialized;

In all cases, the PdfLink's SourceRects is initialized based on the element's VisibleRects.

Note: This function only creates the PdfLink object. It does not add the link into the document. You can add the link to the document by calling Render method on the returned PdfLink object.
